BIO

General practitioner, then specialist of public health, I worked, in particular, in the field of social inequalities of health. The photography has accompanied me for a long time and I was very touched by the social photo. I practice it (as well as one of its places of expression that is the street photo). I am also interested in architecture photography. These two areas - social street photo and architectural photo - are totally compatible, especially as we know that the personal social status is inseparable from the environment of the individual. Individual and contextual approaches are, therefore, also necessarily nested.

Photography or rather the photo... or better... a photo stop us. We stopped on it, they say. We are amazed, fascinated. We wonder, then, why and invoke the art (composition), the signifier and the signified. In short, already being stopped, we are committed to this photo without realizing that there is a before and an after, an out too (an around, actually). The present of the photo, probably already past, a past and a future, already staggered. So the fascination is it not in what we are trying to take the snapshot to infer about the before and after. Those two always exist. Similarly, the photo is a fragment of space. What's happening around? What is lurking in this around? So one cannot stop doing.
